Individual therapy, also known as psychotherapy, talk therapy, or psychosocial therapy is a process between you and a therapist that is designed to help you overcome a number of things that could be causing distress in your life.
Through certain therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy, and Psychodynamic therapy we can work through a mental health diagnosis or emotional distress.Together, we will create a personalized treatment plan that is going to work specifically for you.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a form of psychotherapy that is used to change one’s negative thinking patterns that are potentially leading them to negative or harmful behavior. The goal is to create positive thinking that leads to productive reactions and behaviors and appropriate emotional responses.
Interpersonal Therapy
If you are struggling to create and maintain healthy relationships we can work on this through Interpersonal Therapy.
Psychodynamic Therapy
Through Psychodynamic Therapy, we can begin to connect patterns in emotions, behaviors, and thoughts in order to gain insight into who we are in the present. The idea is to understand unconscious processes and to understand how our past affects our present.
Don’t Wait
Please contact your therapist right away if any of the reasons you sought therapy come back or begin to worsen. If you have thoughts of hurting yourself or others call your therapist or emergency medical immediately.
